Chatodd Floyd, a native of Columbia, SC is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, GA . He was an active student leader with the President’s Commission on Race and Ethnicity, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; and recognized for his involvement as one of Emory’s 100 Senior Honorary award recipients. As a student, he interned with several companies including Maybelline-Garnier, State Farm Insurance, and Kyle Michel Law Firm, LLC. After graduation Chatodd served with City Year, an AmeriCorps program where he was a Team Leader overseeing the William S. Sandal Elementary School Partnership team. His team provided full time one-on-one literacy tutoring to 45 Kindergarten through third grade students throughout the year and also ran a middle school youth development program on Saturdays. He brings his passion for service here to Northern Kentucky University. Currently, Chatodd is the AmeriCorps VISTA Outreach Coordinator with the Institute for Nonprofit Capacity and University Housing.
