Speaking of Women’s Health, a Cincinnati-based nonprofit well-known for the conferences it puts on across the country, is shedding its employees and becoming part of the Cleveland Clinic.

The organization, which started as 1996 with a one-day conference in Cincinnati, is offering severance packages to its employees, who number about 20, said founder and CEO Dianne Dunkelman.

“We’ve been thinking for a long time about what is the most effective and efficient way to reach the greatest number of women,” Dunkelman said. “For us to become part of the Cleveland Clinic is phenomenal because of its standard of excellence and its national and international reputation.”
